Small Group Soccer Training in Raleigh: Real Coaching, Shared Between 2–4 Players

Not a 20-kid academy session where your player waits in line. Small group training caps at 2–4 players, usually friends, siblings, or teammates around the same level, so every player still gets real individual coaching, plus the competitive energy and accountability that comes from training alongside someone else.

What a Small Group Session Actually Looks Like

Groups are capped at 2–4 players, and we build the group around similar skill level or a shared goal, not just whoever signed up that week. That means every drill and every rep is still calibrated to the players in front of us, not diluted down to the lowest common denominator like a big academy class.

Parents usually bring us a group themselves, two friends from the same rec team, siblings, or a couple of club teammates who want extra reps together. We'll also help you find a compatible training partner if you're starting solo and want the group format.

What's Included

  • Warm-up and technical block scaled for 2–4 players, with the coach rotating individual correction to each player every few reps
  • Competitive small-sided drills, 1v1s, 2v2s, and reaction games that only work with more than one player on the field
  • Direct comparison and friendly competition that pushes effort up without a parent having to manufacture motivation
  • Same game-realistic scenario work as 1-on-1 sessions, adapted for group dynamics and decision-making under real pressure
  • Post-session debrief with each parent individually, your player's specific notes, not a generic group summary
  • Flexible group composition, we'll tell you honestly if a group isn't working skill-level-wise, and help you adjust

Real coaching attention, split between players who push each other.

Group training only works when the group is right. We keep it capped at 2–4 and matched by level, so nobody is bored waiting and nobody is in over their head.

Who This Is For

Friends, siblings, or teammates aged 7–14 at a similar skill level who want to train together. Great for families splitting the cost of a private trainer, or players who focus better with a training partner instead of 1-on-1 attention alone.
